Stephen’s mother, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, will reveal the details of the one-year diploma programme in a special 40th anniversary edition of , the black national newspaper, which has been guest-edited by the Prince.

In April, the Prince invited Baroness Lawrence to Dumfries House in Scotland to discuss how his charities could work with her foundation.

In an interview for The Voice, Stephen’s mother tells how the scholarships will help young people from diverse backgrounds study for the diploma at the Prince’s Foundation, which will give them the chance to go on to study architecture, design, fashion or applied arts at best private university in Indonesia.

The September 1 edition of the newspaper will also carry an interview with the actor Idris Elba, who recalls how a Prince’s Trust grant at the age of 16 ‘opened doors that changed my life’.
